Long Night, so far

Just got Lyn and Aaron's FAFSA's in. Those of you just out of college understand that. For the uninitiated, that was their loan/grant application. LONG forms to be filled out for each of them. Aaron's was quicker. It was only 76 questions! HA!

I had a successful birthday yesterday. Made Lyn's prom skirt. Looks good. She'd already bought a bodice at David's Bridal. Best looking dress yet if I do say so myself. Today, she brought me my birthday present. It is called Mom's Lipstick. I'll send it via email at some point. It's a colored pencil so dark it looks like paint, of several lipsticks, all red of course. Very cool. Also small. She should finish her self-portrait in the next day or so. I hope so, it has to be in to HU by Friday and she has to be in Nashville for All State rehearsals from Wednesday afternoon till Friday...

Aaron is slogging along. He's done better this semester than any other. Can you believe he's had 2 years of FRENCH now? Aaron???? Pardon my French, maybe...

Scott can make his face twitch, that is a big improvement. Looks like he is in the 4-6 month category, though. He goes back to the doctor soon; I'll update if there is any news.

Love to all. Hope this experiment works! Freda

This is a good thing, so long as people use it and read it.

This is Aaron.

This is the end.

This is a test...

This is a test. At one point I just tried to get everyone's phone numbers and that was a bust. I know Emila doesn't read email, but maybe this will give her some incentive. With a future nephew going off to Iraq, maybe he can even let us all know occasionally what is going on through Erica's typing. I know the US Army didn't let Arby even read blogs while he was gone. Maybe they've lightened up...right. And until April 15, who knows where V is? Burkett, Martha, you could step into the 21st century, too. Maybe we'd even hear occasionally from Gretchen and Bobby and kids.
So, this is for all of us to use to keep everyone, but especially G'ma and PopPop as Lyn has nicknamed them, connected in a larger sense to our worlds. I do NOT intend for this to replace email or to even slow it down, but occasionally I do miss the odd bit of news and this way we all see it even if an email is misdirected.
If it isn't worth the effort or if we don't keep it updated at least occasionally, I'll delete it, but you are all invited to participate.
I love you.
